Rescuing dogs from kill-shelters in California to give them loving homes in Vancouver, BC

Can you guess how many dogs can be transported on a plane this size?

Sixty! Can you believe it?

That’s what I learned this past weekend at the “Thank DOG I am Out” Save 80 Dogs event, where the organization rescued 80 dogs from kill-shelters in California and transported them (60 by plane and 20 by van) up to Vancouver, BC where eager families lined up to bring them home.

What an incredible event to be a part of! From watching the plane land and seeing how happy these pups are to be here, to seeing them go home to loving families. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
